Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, situated on the banks of River Jhelum is known for its beautiful clear water lakes which has house boats &Shikara rides, the beautiful flowers & fountains in Mughal Garden, rows of tulips blooming in Tulip Garden during season and many more. We will be visiting Pahalgam, which is surrounded by Lidder lake and Betaab valley, where you can enjoy river rafting along with the scenic beauty and shop around for traditional Kashmiri Handicraft items. The captivating glaciers & snow-covered mountains will entice you in Sonmarg. If you are in mood for some adventure sports, you can opt for paragliding in Kashmir valley, Skiing and winter sports in Gulmarg.
While in Kashmir, you must try Zaeka -e-Kashmir, the delicacies like Kashmiri Rogan Josh, Kashmiri Pulav, Kashmiri Dum Alov,Sheermal, Goshtaba, Taabak Maz and the most famous spice infused Kashmiri Kahva. - 25% of the payment is to be made a month before the trip at the time of booking your seat.
- Balance payment is to be paid 20 days prior to the trip starting date in case of trips within India and 30 days prior in case of any trips outside India.
- 100% of the amount is to be paid if the booking is made 20 days or less than it, prior to the commencing of the trip.

- Breakfast and one meal, either Lunch or Dinner is included as per the itinerary mentioned.
- Meals provided in trips can be either À la carte or buffet.
- By default, all meals provided are vegetarian.
- Any preference for non- veg dishes / alcoholic beverages can be added at an additional cost.
- Any meals not included in the inclusions will be at an additional cost, payable directly during the trip.
- The group size will be limited to a maximum of 16 people: 15 participants + 1 group leader or a minimum of 6 people: 5 participants + 1 group leader.
- Since only postpaid connections work in Kashmir, you are requested to arrange for the same beforehand. BSNL, Airtel and Jio works best.
- We do not provide water bottles or any snacks during the trip. We therefore recommend you to carry your own water bottles and snacks like dry fruits/energy bars etc to nibble on during journeys.
- On day 7th, participants will be dropped to Srinagar airport. Participants are requested to book their flight /train after 12.30pm. In case someone misses the return flight/train from Srinagar, Hills & Vales will not be liable for the incident.

- Comfortable walking shoes with warm socks and shoe warmer since sightseeing calls for some amount of walking tours

Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation of the tour from your end for whatever reasons might be, Hills & Vales must be intimated through an email. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive your writing, and the cancellation charges would be applicable on the total trip tariff and not on the token/ advance amount paid. The token/ advance amount paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- 51-60 days before the trip- 90% refund.
- 50-41 days before the trip- 70% refund.
- 40-31 days before the trip- 50 % refund.
- 30-21 days before the trip- 20% refund.
- Less than 20 days before the trip- no refund.
Note: However, in case if the trip is cancelled by Hills & Vales or finds itself in a situation where the trip cannot be executed, due to either any emergency that might affect the itinerary, the trip would be rescheduled or your payment refunded with the amount you paid. You remain assured that once you paid your money to us, it becomes our responsibility.
Written cancellation will be accepted on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Saturday / Sunday or public holidays will be considered on the next working day.
